Who I Am: Singer, Songwriter and Producer from Long Island
I'm Jon Bellion: a singer, songwriter and producer from Long Island, New York. This is where my merch lives, so here is the short version of who's behind it.
Where am I from?
My full name is Jonathan David Bellion. I was born on December 26, 1990, in Lake Grove, New York, and I grew up in Dix Hills, both on Long Island. I've been putting out music since 2011.
What kind of music do I make?
My songs sit somewhere between pop, R&B, hip-hop and indie rock. I write, sing and produce, and a lot of my work happens behind the board as much as in front of the mic.
Who have I worked with?
Before most people knew my name, I was writing for other artists:
- "The Monster": I wrote the chorus of Eminem's "The Monster" with Rihanna, which won a Grammy.
- "Trumpets": I co-wrote and produced Jason Derulo's 2012 single.
- "Beautiful Now": I'm featured on Zedd's 2015 track.
- More credits: songs for Selena Gomez, Katy Perry, Camila Cabello, Halsey and Maroon 5, plus work on Justin Bieber's Justice, the Jonas Brothers' The Album and Tori Kelly's Tori.
Where did the labels come in?
I signed with Visionary Music Group in 2012, and my debut album came out through Visionary and Capitol Records. In July 2019 I started my own label, Beautiful Mind Records, and my third album, Father Figure, came out on it in 2025.
Why "Beautiful Mind"?
It's a name that keeps coming back: my first national headlining tour in 2014 was The Beautiful Mind Tour, and it's the name of my label today.
What's in the shop?
Tees, long sleeves, crewnecks and hoodies, plus kids' tees and youth sizes, all with my designs. Every product page has its own size chart.
